Forensic optometry is a specialized field that utilizes ophthalmic expertise in the context of criminal and legal inquiries. This review article investigates the diverse applications of optometry within the realm of forensic science, encompassing the assessment of visual deficiencies, analysis of spectacle lenses, and interpretation of optical evidence at crime scenes.
